It’s a wet and rainy day here in the eastern worlds of the Pirate Spiral. With 5 knot winds and a chilly 62ºF.

Not a good day for sailing or being out on deck. So we’ve docked at Skull Island for a bit of rest. The ship is undergoing a few repairs from recent battles. And the crew has some much needed shore leave as well.

We’ve been traveling far and wide these past many moons. From Skull Island to the many skyways of Cool Ranch. While the crew is off the ship and it’s calm and quite, I’ve remained on board and decided to catch up with some paperwork. A Captain’s job is never done. Continue reading

The crew and I are taking a much needed rest this evening. Our feet firmly planted on the beach, sipping well aged Yum with a wonderful scent of barbeque waffling through the air.

We completed our mission to Valencia this evening and well deserved rest we have certainly earned! Seems like it took days to get there. The Aragon Skyway is a long way from home. Continue reading

We arrived in the Tierra Primata Skyway to hot breezes and barren landscapes. I didn’t like this place the moment we arrived.

One of the items we acquired before entering the Stormgate was a map of this skyway. Luckily we knew that when we arrived we would come out of the gate right into a location where flocks of Scarakeets like to fly. So we were prepared to avoid them, or to engage in our first battle upon entering this place. Continue reading

The Crew and I made it to Flotsam and barely missed getting hold of Ratbeard in one of the many cabins there. Even with one wooden leg he sure is a slippery character. Of course that One-Eyed Jack character wasn’t a lot of help at first. I’m still a little miffed about his sending us off on a wild goose tail through town. Who knows, he might come in useful again one day.

What is it they say “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer”. I’m not saying he’s an enemy, but he sure is someone you can’t always trust on face value. That’s for sure. But then he’s a pirate and that could be said about all of us! That’s for sure.

News from Cool Ranch.

The crew and I have been traveling the Cool Ranch skyways for several weeks and there’s two things we have learned that are worth sharing.

First, there’s a specific order one should travel through the many towns and destinations. My sister in arms, Victoria Bristol, sent word that she tried to tackle one skyway before completing the one she was initially in and it was a disaster for her crew. It’s important to level up your skills and that of your crew and to complete as many of the quests in one skyway before heading off to another.

I hear A Pirate’s Portal has put a hold on updates to the Cool Ranch Quest Journal and have been preparing some rewrites. In the meantime, the crew and I have been battling through some tough battles through Big Sky and the other Skyways in Cool Ranch. Continue reading

Questing News From The Spiral

Captain's Log Victoria Stuart On The Lucky PearlIt’s a grand day for me. The day I have accumulated wealth, power and standing in the Pirate Spiral. I longed for this day since my childhood in Marleybone. Never did I think it would arrive, but here it is.

What makes this day so special, you ask? It’s the first time I can sit behind a Captain’s desk and enter the details of my first real ship!

Now while we have been on this light skiff for some time, it wasn’t really mine until today. But I’m getting ahead of myself. I’m not much for long drawn out tails, so I’ll make our journey to this day brief and to the point. Exactly how a true Privateer likes it. Give me the facts and figures and allow me to get on with my business. Continue reading
