The World Of Dreams

Obsidian Door at the Scrimshaw Docks

The Realm of the Nightmare Bosses

This world isn’t like going from Skull Island to Marleybone. It’s more like a dungeon that you can enter, exit and come back to over and over again.

Introduced in August 2018, The World of Dreams is a place of Nightmares. Inside this dungeon are battle rooms where you will face off against the toughest of opponents. It’s not for the weak at heart! And these Nightmare Bosses, may seem familiar, but these are battles unlike anything you’ve faced before!

The World of Dreams begins at the Obsidian Door on the Scrimshaw Docks. Once you’ve docked, cross the bridge and run to the right of the ships toward the tavern. Keep going and head over to the Warehouses. At the end of the row of the buildings, you’ll find the Obsidian doorway and sigil.  Continue reading

The Pirate101 Test Realm Observations

Pirate101 Test RealmGetting Started In The Test Realm
August 31, 2018 – Updated September 7, 2018

Entering the test realm, you’ll notice that your entire crew will need to be trained. One thing that doesn’t transfer between the Live realm and the Test Realm are the talent settings for your crew. So be for warned. The first thing you’ll need to do once you enter, is to set the talents for your Crew members.

If you’re a level 70 Captain, that’s a lot of crew folks. You might want to simply set your first two or three rows, on your first crew page and leave it at that. But one member you’ll need to set for sure, is Old Scratch. Continue reading

Selling Gear: The Bazaar & The Vendors

Harvey Deuce
The Bazaar Trader

Where and How To Buy and Sell Your Gear

You’ve had your first battles and earned a few rewards. Or your backpack is full and you need to sell some loot. Or maybe you want to purchase some new gear, or training tomes for your crew and you need some gold. Whatever your reason, it’s time to sell some of the loot you’ve collected.

There are various ways to sell items. At the Bazaar, at a gear Vendor, or to a Free Trader. But hold up before you go hitting that Sell button. Are you sure your selling that item in the right place? Are you getting the best price for your loot? You mean you didn’t know there was a difference? Yep, there is.

Not all place will give you the same amount of gold for your loot. Like any merchandizing business, there’s a supply and demand component to the Pirate Spiral. And while it’s might be easy and convenient to sell all your loot in one place, you’re not doing yourself any favors by dumping your backpack in one place. It’s worth it to shop around a little. History of Veterans Day
World War I – known at the time as “The Great War” – officially ended when the Treaty of Versailles was signed on June 28, 1919, in the Palace of Versailles outside the town of Versailles, France. However, fighting ceased seven months earlier when an armistice, or temporary cessation of hostilities, between the Allied nations and Germany went into effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. For that reason, November 11, 1918, is generally regarded as the end of “the war to end all wars.”

An Act (52 Stat. 351; 5 U. S. Code, Sec. 87a) approved May 13, 1938, made the 11th of November in each year a legal holiday—a day to be dedicated to the cause of world peace and to be thereafter celebrated and known as “Armistice Day.” Armistice Day was primarily a day set aside to honor veterans of World War I, but in 1954, after World War II had required the greatest mobilization of soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen in the Nation’s history; after American forces had fought aggression in Korea, the 83rd Congress, at the urging of the veterans service organizations, amended the Act of 1938 by striking out the word “Armistice” and inserting in its place the word “Veterans.” With the approval of this legislation (Public Law 380) on June 1, 1954, November 11th became a day to honor American veterans of all wars.
