Battle New Evil Bosses

Over in the World of Dreams, some new Evil doers have taken up residence. Black Annie Rackham and Verminius Blightbeard (Evil Bonnie Anne and Evil Ratbeard) are being unleashed!

The Royals from Pirate101 have announced:
The Nightmare Doors that the evil version of Old Scratch opened from the Realm of Dreams are opening again, and beyond them wait a Fox and Rat who aren’t the compatriots you know: they’re the infamous scallywags Black Annie Rackham and Vernimius Blightbeard! They’re ready to fight with evil fervor – and they’re guarding some new and shiny treasure.

These obsidian skeleton key fights are a suitable challenge for a full group of our most seasoned Pirates. Should you happen to defeat either of these fearsome foes 25 times, you’ll gain the opportunity to persuade them to join you in your voyages… that’s right, you can unlock both new companions in the Crown Shop! That’s not all – there’s some other new spoils to earn by besting these new adversaries! Challenge them often to discover what treasure they keep.

The two new Obsidian bosses in the World of Dreams appear in these battles as Level 79 to Level 82. Right now it’s near to impossible to beat these two new Bosses. By yourself or as a full team. You and your crew can only achieve Level 70, with a few exceptions for Valencian companions. But here’s what we can tell you so far:

We’re working on the quest journal for Blightbeard too. It’s still in progress. We haven’t gotten past the first 2 rounds of battle yet. Not as a single player or as a team! Egads it too is a tough battle. – updated 10/12

The Tower Battle of Agony

By far this quest is the hardest in all the spiral, at least as of this writing. There are 10 levels to get through, 9 of which have bad guys. And of course the top-level is where you find the biggest bad guy of all, Moo Manchu and his toughest minions. Most of the minions throughout the tower are level 55 and up. Moo Manchu himself, is level 65.

These are not easy battles and I have yet to get through the entire tower in less than 2 hours. Yes, I said 2 hours. That’s if all the players in the team are level 65 and up. There’s a reason most gamers suggest not taking on the Tower unless you’re over level 60, and some suggest waiting until level 65. More on that later in the team up.

But the gold you can accumulate in the tower, is staggering! With 4 players, you can find 150,000 to 200,000 pieces of gold. Or more, depending on how many Treasure Bath doubloons you and your team can drop during a battle. And then there’s the coveted badges! More on that later.

First, you have to find the quest, as it’s not part of the main quests through MooShu. And there are quests that you’ll have to complete first. Starting with the Manchurian Candidate and ending with defeating Moo Manchu in the Tomb of Kow Cheng.
